Exciting News! The Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance has announced that the "Galloping Horses of Willowbrook" is a finalist in the 2012 Maine Literary Awards. Winners will be revealed May 31st. No matter the outcome, we feel honored just to have gone this far!
Just picking up the torch of family history started by my late dad (Bob Fenderson) and late grandfather (Frank H. Fenderson) and we are related to Ivory Fenderson - my dad had a ton of very old family photos - I'll let you know if I come across any of Ivory. I don't think he knew about the carousel - but I love this story and will definately order a book and make a trip next time we're up in Maine.
